- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - On Friday 28 August 2009 the 2009 WSOC-2MBS FM Young Composer award will be announced. WSOC and 2MBS FM would like to invite you to attend the World Premiere performance on Friday 28 August, 8pm,and Sunday 30 August 6.30pm. The venue will be the GLENN STREET THEATRE (cnr. Glenn St and Blackbutte Rd, Belrose). In addition to the prize money, the work will be performed by the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra conducted by Thomas Woods and recorded by 2MBS FM for later broadcast. Julie Simonds will present the broadcast later in 2009 on 2MBS FM in the FAC hour. Attention all APRA Writer members: You have until the 31 August 2009 to claim royalties for your live performances between 1st July 2008 - 30th June 2009.
